Back in 1999/2000 I worked on a number of products for the, then, upcoming Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone. It was around this same time I undertook training in the virtual Sculpting package Freeform.
As the Royal Doulton pieces needed to be high quality and all have the same look The heads were all sculpted virtually based on scans of the Warner Bros control maquettes. In they end the scans needed so much work they were pretty much completely re-sculpted.
