I was asked by the guys over at Shoguns studios ( http://shogunsentertainment.co.uk/ ) to make some maquettes for a project they were working on.
I was sent the animation models which required a little work before they could be printed -
Made higher resolution,
Converted clothing from single sided polys to solid objectand part of the model
Fix any watertight issues
Split into parts and key for printing
They chose to have them printed on my Prusa MK3 FDM printer (even though I had a perfectly good Formlabs Form2 SLA just sitting there) so they new they'd have some layer lines.
Key to this project was cheap and quick
File prep, printing, processing and painting and 2 weeks later and the set of 6 was complete.
A second version of Ace Thundeerr was requested afterwards for a second pose
